Southern Homes Estate Sales has been providing estate and relocation sales in Florida for more than two decades, with its first sale in Windermere, Florida in 1996. Founding member Laura Parker developed the business based on her background in antique dealing, interior design and professional staging.
Laura grew up in the historic town of Key West and attended Florida State University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. She relocated to Windermere in 1992 and developed her career in professional staging and estate sales. Southern Homes Estate Sales continued to grow, gaining momentum from word-of-mouth referrals due to a proven reputation and demand for sales expanding to areas around the state.
As Southern Homes evolved, it retained specialists in various fields including research, sales and professional furniture moving. Two of these valuable and integral team members are Laura's son David Parker, who manages sales, logistics and delivery teams, and Laura's daughter Lauren Parker, who manages sales, research and staging teams.
